- Can individual consumers purchase directly from Merritt International?
- Merritt International sells exclusively to retailers.
- If you are a retailer and would like to set up an account with us, please fill out our New Customer Registration Form. Once we receive the completed form, we will provide you with a password so you may access our online catalog in the Retailer section of our website.
- How can I find a retailer in my area?
- If you are an individual consumer, please contact our main office by email to request information about retailers carrying our products in your area. Please be sure to include your city, state, and zip code with your request.
- How do I request a catalogue?
- To receive a hard copy of our 2009 catalog, please fill out our Request a Catalogue form. Once your form is submitted, you should receive your catalog in seven to ten business days. We look forward to doing business with you!
- How do I place an order?
- Orders can be placed with your local sales rep (username & password required), or by fax (818-767-6523), or email.
- What methods of shipping do you use?
- Orders are shipped via UPS Ground anywhere in the United States, unless weight or packaging requirements necessitate shipment by common carrier. Merritt International also processes shipments through FedEx when a FedEx account number or third party number is provided by the customer.
- How long will it take for my order to ship?
- Opening orders are delivered 2 to 4 weeks after receipt of order (pending credit approval). Reorders are delivered 2 weeks after receipt of order. Any rush orders need to be pre-approved. Please inquire about expedited shipments by contacting us via email.
- How do I get pricing for an order I just received?
- Invoices are sent via mail after orders ship. If you need immediate pricing, please contact our office via email to get a copy of your invoice faxed or emailed to you. Please be sure to include your contact information in your request.
- What is your backorder policy?
- All backorders under $75.00 will be automatically cancelled. Customers with backorders over $75.00 will be faxed a Backorder Approval Form to accept or decline the pending backorder. Customers can also specify whether backorders are allowed on the initial order.
- How do I handle damage claims or returns?
- Shipping Damage: Upon receipt of merchandise, check cartons for outside damage. If the outside cartons are noticeably damaged, a claim should be filed immediately with the carrier.
- Merchandise Damage: Upon receipt of merchandise, check contents of each carton. If the contents are damaged, claims of any nature must be made within ten (10) days after receipt of merchandise. Please fax the Merritt International packing slip specifying damages to (818) 767-6523. Any invoice adjustment must be approved by Merritt International.
- Returns: No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- How do I get digital images of Merritt International products to use on my store’s website?
- Digital images of our entire catalog are available in the Retailers section of our website. Right click on the particular item you are interested in, select “save picture as,” and choose a file where you would like the image to be saved.
